Better quality digital output than expected. 0 people found this helpfulI did just over 1,200 35 mm color slides the first two days I had the equipment. I have not had the time to try and use the color correction on board and just did some of that in post. The attached pictures show the quality the unit produced. I did a crop of the wife's grandparents and enhanced it a little with simple software-not Photoshop. All the slides were 40 to 50 years old. Please clean each slide and then clean the machine lens with the supplied brush after about every 100 slides. Dust particles really show up on the digital photos when viewing them on the computer. I am very happy with this product and surprised at the quality of the sharpness. Also depends on the quality of the slide to begin with. I would buy again.March 12, 2024 UPDATE: Decided to try the Magnasonic All-In-One with color 35 mm negatives. I am very happy with the results. The color balance was never good on these 49 year old wedding negatives. But we wanted to have them stored safely and also converted to Black-and-White. I am including samples of color and bw. This has been a very good investment for us. It has handled 1900 plus slides and these 135 wedding negatives very well.

Scanner is User Friendly 0 people found this helpfulThis scanner is easy to use and includes everything needed to upload. While the screen is small, the upload to a laptop is easy so you can view photos more easily in larger format. Some of my negatives were old so the color had deteriorated some but most were good.

Good product for the price 0 people found this helpfulI don't understand the criticisms in some of the other reviews. I think the build quality is fine, and the picture quality is very good. I did have to reduce the color saturation in some of the color photos, but that might have been present in the original film slides. I'm 100% satisfied. I can't imagine that some of the units that were priced at twice as much would have done any better.
