Works well. Picture quality is pretty good. Colors are vibrant on old Kodak films. Two gripes:
1. Compression artifacts--I would not expect this from what should be a hi-res picture.
2. Frame jitter--Rather than played through like a usual projector, each frame is stopped over the camera and scanned. Not every frame is placed exactly where the last one was, causing the picture to be somewhat jumpy. I hope that this can be corrected by editing software.
Otherwise, this is a good, lower-cost alternative to other transfer services. Would I recommend this machine to others? Yes.
