I have done a lot of film since getting this. It works great but you do have to sit by it some to catch it when it stops on an old splice or a previous broken film ( it will keep feeding on to the floor.) Picture Quality good but a 5-7 megapixel camera would take it over the top! That would make for larger files though. It is 3.5 megapixel. The frame adjustments are easy to understand and use. A 7" reel will take 4.5 hours to copy file size 1.5-2GB mp4a. 5" 2 hours, 3" 45 minutes. I used and old movie projector to rewind the film faster and to not put that load on this unit. It only has one speed so it can take a few minutes to rewind a 7". Old AC projector about a minute.
