I had tried other inexpensive slide viewers to convert my old slides to digital files. Each of them were either cumbersome (at best) or didn't produce good photos. This device -- once I figured it out -- has been reliable and the resulting digital photos are more than acceptable for 50 years old slides.Delivery and packaging was as expected and the cabling and media templates included were somewhat cheaply made but sufficient to do the job. Overall, I'm quite satisfied and would recommend it for slide conversion.(I haven't tried either the film or negative import features.)
