Today, a little over 5 years after purchase, I said goodbye to this radio alarm clock. We shared some good times and bad. Overall, it was acceptable. I would have liked it to have lasted longer though.The radio worked well when the antenna was in juuust the right place. It would play the station I set it to for my alarm, but good luck if you try to change the frequency after you've gotten it right. The thermometer helped me do a sanity check when the heat wouldn't quit in winter and I sweat through my blankets. It can vary depending where you put the probe by a few degrees if you have the clock backed up in a corner like I did. The projector was hard to angle right while keeping the clock face facing me in bed at the same time; 90 degree rotation would have been nice, in addition to 180 degrees. You can focus the display nicely, but put on your glasses for that part! As for the main display: after about 4 years, the middle dimness faded - you could hardly see the display, especially during the day but also at night. The brightest setting is very bright.
