I'd been looking for a clock to have beside my bed that I could use without the bright display, so when this one was highly recommended on a review of the "top 12 alarm clocks," I ordered it. Sadly, there is one point that I wasn't aware of-if you want to show the time on the ceiling or wall, the clock must be facing AWAY from you. That means all the buttons and the nighttime dim clock face are not an option. No matter where I moved the clock, trying to get the ceiling time showing correctly (instead of reversed), the only solution was to put the clock across the room, so that it could be facing me. Obviously, that meant that the buttons were WAY out of reach.
