I kind of knew, that this would not be top class, but for that price it works actually pretty well. Good work flow and makes all those old negatives easily available again without dark room. If i need a better scan i still can use my tedious Epson scanner. It even makes me think of reviving my good old film cameras, that are unmatched nowadays in terms of the finder qualities. Digital cameras neglect the creative picture taking capeabilities and quality of finder image. All replaced by autofocus and the film, which a camera maker would not need to worry about in the past, is now elaborately digital. Distracting from the picture taking part and offering tons of manipulative junk, that is not "photo graphing" anymore. I like this thing.Over time, controlling the dust might becoming an issue.
